Funded by the City of Perth, Side Walks is a dynamic, one-day celebration of storytelling in its various forms across Northbridge and the Perth CBD. Bringing together artists, writers, journalists, and poets, Side Walks presents six unique events in venues both usual and unusual. Six events, split into two phases, will be held over Saturday 5 October Hey Girl Hey! I see you – trying to be the best Dog Mum you can be. I get the joy of seeing them play with their fav toy, the frustration when they chew something they shouldn’ and I totally get the feeling of wanting them to have fun, stress free, social little lives and how guilty you feel when you can’t provide it.

It includes 37 walks so while you’ll find lots of walking options, and adequate information to get from A-B, it doesn’t go in-depth. The selected routes are worthwhile and the book is laid-out attractively. A delightful 10 kilometre loop around the Swan River that takes you past Elizabeth Quay, Barrack Street Jetty, Riverside Drive and the South Perth Foreshore. On foot or on wheels this is a great route with plenty of places for refreshments.
